During Q4, 2020, an independent test of the Silver Peak, now part of Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, Unity EdgeConnect™ EC-S VXOA 8.2.1.0_77275l was performed (Branch 1). The Branch 1 use case is a good reference for large installations such as large enterprises, corporate offices, and distribution centers. With a flexible, robust Zero-Touch Provisioning, the time to create a new configuration was very fast; cloning even faster. Deployment was easy, and the product included comprehensive documentation. Video MOS was extremely good; Voice MOS excellent; HTTP Connect times excellent; FTP latency excellent; Emails sent per second excellent; and Rated Throughput was excellent. Security Effectiveness was not tested for this product.
