During Q4, 2020, an independent test of the Barracuda CloudGenFirewall F400 v8.1.0-0348 was performed (Branch 2). The Branch 2 use case is a good reference for medium installations such as medium enterprises, regional offices, and retail warehouses. With flexible, robust Zero-Touch Provisioning, the time to create a new configuration was fast; cloning even faster. Deployment was easy, and the product included comprehensive documentation. Video MOS were extremely good; Voice MOS excellent; HTTP Connect times excellent; FTP latency excellent; Emails sent per second excellent; however, when delayed burst was introduced, the performance experienced a degradation; Rated Throughput was extremely good, and Security Effectiveness was good.

Product ratings give decision-makers clear, forward-looking insight into the effectiveness of products tested.
